Duties:

  • Performs surveys, studies, and evaluations to measure and improve program operations and results.
  • Provides advice and guidance, including interpretations, opinions, or decisions, regarding programs or policies. Consultations involve assessment of program or policy conditions, phenomena, or anomalies.
  • Plans and manages projects from the concept development stage through implementation and management. Identifies requirements, develops technical and administrative approaches, and coordinates project resources, including project costs, human resources, scheduled completion timeframes, etc.
  • Performs work developing or facilitating the development of courses for training programs.
  • Serves as a technical resource and advisor to the Bureau and/or agency, advising on and backstopping development assistance activities in the area of formal and non-formal education development. Supports geographic or region activities within the area of development education by reviewing and analyzing data; developing strategies, analytical models, and methodologies; and providing assistance and advice on sectoral issues.
