This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), U. S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The incumbent serves as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer, Finance, Accounting, and Analysis Division (FAAD), with responsibilities including the formulation, interpretation, and administration of accounting and related financial management programs, policies, and procedures; oversees the FAAD responsibilities for funds control to monitor compliance with Appropriations Act, the Anti-Deficiency Act, OMB Circular A-11, Preparation, Submission and Execution of the Budget, the Department's Order on the Control of Funds, and any other guidelines and policies as applicable; manages the timely and accurate reporting of OJP's accounting and financial operations, including the production of OJP's quarterly and annual audited financial statements; develops performance/workload metrics/indicators relating to accounting and finance and provides management reports to facilitate review, oversight, and reporting; and drives continuing analysis, efficiencies and overall improvement in FAAD's business processes.
