Duties:
Recognized as an expert authority and leader in a statistical or technical area of specialization. Plans, develops, and provides technical direction and overall management control and supervision for the Institute unit activities related to research and statistical methodologies.
Recognized as an expert authority and leader in a statistical or technical area of specialization. Plans, develops, and provides technical direction and overall management control and supervision for the Institute unit activities related to research and statistical methodologies.
Directs special studies of marked importance that significantly impact statistical research and development in the criminal justice field, such as innovative studies that apply quantitative analysis and sophisticated statistical techniques to data collected in support of national justice policy.
Develops or ensures the appropriateness of general methodologies used for the collection of data conducted in-house or under contract arrangement with other government agencies, private contractors, or grantees. Oversees the sample design, methods of collection, quality control, estimation procedures, and analytic plans.
