This position is not a remote position. The duty station is Washington, DC. The selectee will be required to report to the duty station at least 4 days per bi-weekly pay period.

Duties:
Evaluates existing BJS policies and procedures for alignment with stated goals and objectives. Researches applicable OMB guidance and other statistical agencies' policies and processes to help develop recommendations.
Develops agency-wide statistical policies based on existing laws, policy and best practices. Reviews and edits draft policy documents for completeness, accuracy and benefit to BJS. Serves on BJS, OJP and other federal technical and policy working groups related to statistical policy.

Implements and maintains a tracking system for all BJS reviews and engagements. Develops processes to coordinate and maintain tracking for OMB Paperwork Reduction Act clearance package submission.
