Duties:

  • The incumbent is the Program Support Specialist for the Office Research Evaluation and provides the full range of program support functions for the office and staff. Performs program support work researching and analyzing established administrative issues; acting as liaison with individuals and groups both inside and outside an organization regading administrative and/or organizational matters; and preparing a variety of written documents, such as staff papers, status reports, or policy recommendations.

    Performs work related to the gathering and development of materials, and reporting of activities in support of the technical projects of an organization.
  • Serves as the organization's liaison to the Human Resources office. Monitors, coordinates, and provides information to facilitate the human resources activities of the work unit.
  • Provides administrative support and guidance for organizational budgeting and financial management activities. Areas of guidance include budget formulation, justification, and execution policies; and financial management and financial reporting requirements. Provides information and advice to management and program personnel on budgetary and finance issues.
  • Maintains the records management program for the office.
  • Researches administrative or program related materials and/or activities, and presents findings and recommendations in written, verbal, or other form to program, administrative, and/or management officials.
