    WHO MAY APPLY: APPLICANTS MUST BE COLLEGE STUDENTS MAJORING IN ACCOUNTING OR CRIMINAL JUSTICE OR COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH AT LEAST 12 SEMESTER/18 QUARTER HOURS OF ACCOUNTING OR CRIMINAL JUSTICE COURSES OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE AND ARE AT LEAST SIXTEEN (16) YEARS OLD BY JUNE 30, 2013. APPLICANTS MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT EXCEL.

    The vacancies in this announcement are being advertised under the Architect of the Capitol's (AOC) Summer Employment Program. This program allows students who are at least 16 years old and meet other qualification requirements to work during the summer in one of the AOC jurisdictions.

    This is a temporary position.

    The salary is $12.45 per hour

    DURATION OF WORK: No more than twelve (12) consecutive weeks of intermittent work.

Duties:

  • Under the Summer Employment Program, assists Office of Inspector General (OIG) Auditors or Investigators with tasks supporting OIG audits and/or investigations. Provides assistance in testing transactions, database searches and analysis and documenting work performed. Learns the work processes of the work unit. Works under the supervision of a higher-grade employee to gain knowledge and understanding of the field of work. Work assignments provide opportunities to improve skills.
