General Experience
Specialized Experience
As a general rule, an attorney with a J.D. degree (or equivalent) who is an active member of the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction and has at least one-year post-J.D. (or equivalent) legal or other relevant experience is eligible for an experienced attorney position. The required number of years of experience can be increased and additional eligibility criteria required for some experienced attorney positions. . Given the scope of Justice's legal practice (see component practice areas at
