KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
Experience in providing information and answering questions.
Ability to compose non-technical correspondence.
Ability to operate basic office equipment and Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge of program support practices and procedures.
MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 8:
Qualifying experience for the FP-08 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to FP-09 or GS-5 level. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Examples are providing, clerical, secretarial and administrative support in an federal agency or professional business office; responding to inquires; answering mutli-phone line system; and handling correspondence control.
