MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


Grade 13:


Qualifying experience for the GS-13 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-12 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Agency Marketing Statement:


Duties:

  • Lead SMART Communications Program

    Develop and execute strategies and communication plans to further SMART's mission. Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies for promoting and publicizing new or substantially revamped programs and services.
  • Written Product and Material Review

    Manage the publications program for the SMART Office including all phases of editing/production. Review products for compliance with agency policies regarding objectivity, balance, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
  • Communication and Information Dissemination

    Manage, edit, and review material submitted for publication and coordinate the preparation of speeches and talking points covering sex offender registration notification or management issues. Develop SMART messaging on sex offender registration/notification or management issues for both internal and external audiences. Disseminate information that is timely, absolutely accurate, complete, and intellectually honest.
  • Web and Social Media Writing, Planning, Development, and Implementation

    Manage SMART's website and social media programs and processes across multiple organizational business units and internal office teams.
  • Information, Communication, and Liaison Services

    Provide guidance on SMART administrative management matters for an organization with varied functions and programs, such as plans for new program requirements.
