Duties:
Provides advice and guidance, including interpretations, opinions, or decisions, regarding a full range of programs or policies to include the Denial of Federal Benefits Program. Consultations involve assessment of program or policy conditions, phenomena, or anomalies. Monitors grantee and contractor performance and project progress, to identify substantive or administrative problems, taking corrective action when needed. Delivers information and assistance on various programs and projects to BJA managers, other OJP officials, grantees, contractors, etc., regarding program/contract content, operations, issues, problem resolution, and similar matters.

Serves as the BJA Contractor Officer's Representative (COR) for multiple contracts, to include the Denial of Federal Benefits Program contract. Manages the contracts to keep contract costs within allotted budgets. Keeps supervisor informed of contract spending, forecasted burn rates, and other financial requirements and issues. Develops performance standards and quality assurance surveillance plan for each contract and implements the monitoring steps to ensure that BJA receives high-quality, timely products and services.
