Duties:

  • Analyzes, formulates, and develops ideas, concepts, and methodology for new or revised policies, procedures, and systems for designing, implementing and evaluating programs related to social science analysis.
  • Oversees and guides projects in one or more specialized justice focus areas.
  • Serves as a technical expert for a significant segment of a social science focus area or program area.
  • Evaluates the scientific aspects of a wide variety of program grants, research-based grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
  • Reviews and evaluates research in a broad specialized scientific area of the social sciences.
