  • The U.S. Probation Office offers an opportunity for self-motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethic to explore a career in public service. Our fast paced, prestigious environment consists of challenging and rewarding work and training opportunities.

Duties:

  • Interns will be exposed to all facets of U.S. Probation Officer functions, including supervision of offenders and presentence investigations, under the supervision of a mentor.

    The persons selected for this position will have contact with confidential material which is protected under confidentiality regulations. Disclosure of any confidential information to the outside public is prohibited.
  • You must be able to physically report for duty the entire length of the internship in order to receive credit. On-line distance learning internships are not available. The internships are in the Probation divisions located in: Phoenix, Yuma and Flagstaff.
