Duties:

  • Performs work concerning classification, declassification, and protection of classified national defense and other sensitive information originated or controlled by Federal agencies.
  • Performs work concerned with the physical measures designed to safeguard employees and other personnel; to prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities, material, and documents; and to safeguard against espionage, sabotage, damage, terrorist activity, and/or theft.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders at various levels of government, private industry, and/or universities to communicate and disseminate information about agency mission and activities.

    Evaluates the efficiency of major security programs through advancing applications, implementing national security level guidance within standard operating procedures, guidelines and policies, and proposing major agency and interagency security projects.
