Duties:

  • The incumbent provides analysis and oversight to all operations of the Learning Management System (LMS) suite of tools.
  • Manage the selection and transition to a new LMS, and/or upgrades to an existing LMS.
  • Develop guidance and operating procedures to monitor proposed changes to the learning management system LMS suite of tools.
  • Provide learning management system training and support to staff and adult learners to resolve problems and implement changes to software.

    Develop and deliver new online courses, which meet the specifications of instructional strategy for resolving a defined training problem. Use multi-media methods to enhance training effectiveness.

    Create standards for online course development (e.g., templates, style guidelines) and maintenance (e.g., annual updates, replacement, deletion, version control, and electronic storage).

    Coordinates with local and federal public safety and criminal justice organizations to develop training on issues of mutual concern. Develops and administers training curriculum for individuals in the Community Supervision (Probation/Parole) field, who have a direct impact on public safety.

    Determine appropriate systems/methodologies for delivering and managing employee onboarding, training instruction, and career development, including learning management systems (LMS) and talent management systems (TMS), curriculum provider platforms, reporting systems, software, and general web content and knowledge management systems.

    Acts as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all Agency learning technologies.
