KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of computer hardware/software technologies.

Knowledge and the ability to apply NIST and DHS Security Guidance in an operational environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
I possess and have attached to my application one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 14:
Qualifying experience for the GS-14 level requires IT-related experience that demonstrates each of the following four competencies: Attention to Detail; Customer Service; Oral Communication; and Problem Solving; AND one (1) year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience must be IT-related and may be paid or unpaid experience.
Example of specialized experience for positions at the GS-14 level, typically gained in the IT field or through performance of work where the primary concern is IT. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to 1).Understand and apply classification guides and information security policies, procedures, and regulations; (2) Develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, and methods of identifying and protecting classified information; (3) Identify, handle, safeguard, and protect classified information.
