Duties:

• The Presidio is seeking an experienced journey-level Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator. The Presidio, formerly a 1,491-acre Army base, is now a new kind of national park. The park offers unique recreation, hospitality, and educational opportunities, and is home to thousands of residential and non-residential tenants. The Public Safety & Municipal Services Division maintains the important infrastructure necessary to sustain the equivalent of a small city, including fire protection, utilities, water treatment, roads, grounds, and forestry. The Public Safety & Municipal Services Divisions Roads and Trails Maintenance crew safely operates a variety of heavy equipment to maintain trails, road beds, road shoulders and ditches throughout the Presidio.
  
  Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in operating heavy equipment with a high degree of dexterity, and brings comprehensive knowledge of roads, trails and grounds work practices. You possess excellent customer service and communication skills and interact positively with the Presidio community, including colleagues, tenants, and visitors.
  
  This is a full-time position with a minimum salary of $30.47 per hour.
