MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 15:
Qualifying experience for the GS-15 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-14 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include: Providing expert advice and guidance on program implementation, policy, legislation and other issues related to reducing violent crime, supporting victims, and addressing public safety needs in tribal communities; developing program and policy implementation strategies to address unmet public safety needs in tribal communities in consultation with tribal governments; and staying informed of significant developments in American Indian/Alaska Native affairs and developing comprehensive policy and programs to improve public safety and victim services in tribal communities, soliciting tribal input.
