Duties:

  • Conducts analyses and assignments in support of the effective and efficient management of BJS's statistical programs and operations.

    Analyzes management techniques, processes, and styles for improving organizational effectiveness. Recommends management approaches and work functions needing development and modification.
  • Develops procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative control systems in line or operating programs. Develops procedures and systems for evaluating, accomplishing, and monitoring audits, inspections, or management/internal control reviews.
  • Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals, measures, and objectives. Conducts management and strategic planning activities, including those related to carrying out the requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and the Federal Activities Inventory Report Act (FAIR).
  • Produces a variety of management studies and program analyses and prepares detailed reports, policy documents, papers, charts and graphs.
