Duties:

  • The budget analyst will also assist and, in some instances, take the lead in reconciling, analyzing, and forecasting the payroll. The budget analyst will execute the approved budget (including the spending plan), prepare and analyze budget records and reports, oversee funding allotments and associated spending, and make adjustments as required. The budget analyst will assist in reviews of internal controls and audits; develop recommendations regarding process improvements and automation; and provide regular updates to the CFO on the current status of the budget and any changes in requirements, procedures, or practices. Closely coordinating with the CFO, the budget analyst will develop and maintain financial and budget execution tools, making use of automated systems and programs. In addition, the budget analyst will assist with CBOs travel program requirements and perform other duties as assigned, including some accounting functions.
