Duties:

• The person hired for this position will contribute to developing new studies, to working with many data sets available to CBO, and to designing and improving the state-of-the-art analytical models that underlie the agency's studies and cost estimates for proposed legislation. The person will also produce research reports and manuscripts about issues affecting the federal government and will collaborate with analysts in CBO's Budget Analysis Division to develop cost estimates for legislation and baseline estimates of the cost of government programs. The work includes interacting with a large network of advisers from academia, state governments, and industry.
