Duties:

  • Responsibilities include receiving and referring telephone callers and visitors, tracking budget information, managing executives schedules, preparing training and travel documents for staff, maintaining intranet pages, producing cost estimates and other Congressional correspondence, compiling data and briefing materials, coordinating agency functions, preparing time and attendance records, collecting and distributing mail, and filing, as well as performing other administrative duties for an array of requirements throughout the agency. The assistant will interact with staff at all levels of the organization, as well as with Congressional staff, leadership of other federal agencies, people at professional and academic institutions, and the public.
