Duties:

  • The Supervisory Program Manager is responsible for selecting, implementing, monitoring and revising cognitive behavior programs as approved by the Deputy Associate Director of the BID. Serves as a source of information and advice on program issues that require assessment of unusual circumstances or variations in approach and development of new methods and criteria. Serves as a mentor and provides guidance to entry-level program managers.

    Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Plans, schedules, and assigns work to subordinates. Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for staff members; provides feedback and periodically evaluates employee performance. Provides advice, counsel, and/or instruction to staff members. Recommends or approves appointments, selections, or reassignments to positions appropriate to the selection authority delegated. Effects disciplinary measures as appropriate to the authority delegated in this area. Carries out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and program activities.
  • Coordinates with all OCSIS divisions to address and resolve issues related to the selection and administration of screeners, assessments, evaluations and placements for offenders. Serves as the primary liaison between CSOSA and external stakeholders, including the Courts, USPC, and service providers to address and resolve all issues regarding offender screening, assessment, evaluation and placement.
  • Provides advice and guidance when program interpretation, opinion, or decisions are solicited. Consultations involve assessment of program conditions, phenomena, or anomalies.
  • Participates in, coordinates, and/or manages agency programs and projects.
