The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency's (CSOSA) has an opening for an Offender Processing Assistant (OA) to join our dedicated team and gain invaluable experience working in the public interest to support the fair administration of justice.

    This vacancy announcement may be used to fill future vacancies for identical positions within the next year.

Duties:

  • Incumbent performs preliminary screening of documents related to offender intake and/or assignment. Performs intake-processing functions that include fingerprinting and photographing offenders. Updates offenders' personal information into the Supervision Management Automated Record Tracking (SMART) agency database.
  • Prepares and maintains case records in accordance with established guidelines. Performs face to face intake interviews with offenders, obtaining critical and sensitive information to complete the intake process.
  • Provides clerical support in preparing, compiling, and processing parole-related documents. Prepares correspondence, reports, technical documents, graphs/charts, and forms.
