Duties:

  • As a benefits specialist, you will review and process cases and work with national law enforcement and first responder groups, educating public safety agencies regarding the initiative and offering support to families and colleagues of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, and first responders.

  • Provide advice and guidance regarding benefits programs. Consultations involve assessment of benefits programs or policy conditions, phenomena, or anomalies.

    Analyze all submitted claim documentation in conjunction with PSOB Act and regulations regarding status of officer, manner of death, appropriate beneficiaries, etc.
