Duties:
The Information Resource Management and Technology Services Unit seeks a self-motivated program specialist with a strong work ethic to oversee CBOs contracts and manage vendors. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Information Officer as part of a 14-person IT (information technology) shop. The responsibilities include interacting with vendors; overseeing all IT contracts for purchasing equipment, materials, products, and services; maintaining financial-management systems; tracking and monitoring IT purchases and license renewals throughout their life cycle; tracking IT budget information; compiling data and briefing materials; and picking up and delivering IT equipment and supplies.

Candidates must have a bachelors degree in business administration, communication, or IT and at least two years of administrative experience managing contracts, preferably in an IT environment. This position requires the flexibility to track, prioritize, and execute many tasks simultaneously. In addition to outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, candidates must have superb interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Candidates should be self-starters who can anticipate and troubleshoot problems. Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment and the ability to develop and maintain computer record-keeping systems are also required. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry more than 15 pounds.
