Duties:

  • The position is a Security Program Support Specialist and provides program support in all phases of the Agency's Security Program. Works closely with the personnel security team and Drug Free Workplace Program coordinator for Court Services Offender Supervision Agency and Pretrial Services Agency. The individual serves as a clearinghouse for all incoming requests for information. As the initial security point of contact, independently handles straightforward questions in all areas, and when necessary, directs highly specialized questions to the appropriate manager or security specialist.

    Serves as the primary program point of contact over proximity identification card issuance, recovery and issues Agency identification documents/cards, keys as necessary, and provides support and or backup to the program managers in other security activities. Additional duties include but are not limited to: assigning access levels in a variety of databases, research and developing tracking reports for lost identification cards, and reviews and or resolves issues related to systems reports alarms of improper card use.

    Responsible for the management of administrative support systems for the office and independently handles issues related to information systems data entry and budget monitoring and small purchases.

    Prepares reports, instruction forms, memorandum, and general correspondence. Drafts, edits, and completes in final form complex memorandums, difficult reports and papers, and other very challenging original written products.
